Our Story
Dominick always had a passion for food, Italian food. Dominick's pizzeria first opened it's doors in 1972 in Miami, Florida. He moved his love for the business to Plantation, Florida in 1977. There he opened a take-out pizzeria and butcher shop with only the finest ingredients made from scratch. He worked side by side with his dedicated family and maintain a loyal customer base. In 1998, Dominick decided to move his cheese. Dominick and his son, Anthony, changed the focus to manufacture frozen pizza. There they spent years together side by side, bringing the same quality and focus to the foodservice industry. Dominick left his legacy behind in 2014. Anthony continued to grow and build the business to become the largest pizza manufacturer in Florida until 2022. Letting go to spend more time with his wife, Nicole and two children, Gina and Anthony, the pizza-less void set in. Today, Anthony honors his father's name by continuing with the love of Italian food in a different style, on wheels! The family business lives on with Dominick's Pizza Food Truck.
